I have been with Animal Hospital since 1987. I married my husband Michael in 1990 and we have 2 daughters, Michaela and Cameron. We have 2 Pugs, "Vinnie" and "Jett", 2 cats, "Julius" a DLH Orange Tabby and "Maximus" a Scottish Fold and a Chinchilla, "Chloe". We just add a new member to our family, a kitten "Leonidas".

I grew up in Missouri and Iowa. I moved to California in 1989 after graduating from college in Iowa. I had only planned to spend a year out here, but God had other plans for me! I met my wonderful husband, Lonnie, in 1991 and we were married in 1992. We have two beautiful children, Sarah and Alex. I still consider myself a Midwest girl, though!!! Over the years we have had quite a variety of pets. There have been two Labrador retrievers, five cats, a guinea pig, a cockatiel, a rabbit and a Russian tortoise. Our latest is a Pembroke Welsh corgi named Charlie. Let's just say he's a handful! I have been with Animal Hospital since 1991. Working here has been great. I'm proud of the work we do and helping the many clients I have come to know over the years.

I have been a client of the Animal Hospital with my pets since 1991.  I’ve always been impressed with the staff and the ideals of the hospital.  When an opening for receptionist became available over 13 years ago, I applied and the rest is history.

I’ve been married for 41 years to David, the boy next door, a wonderful man and my best friend.  We have a terrific son, Jason, who’s been married for 11 years to Aileen, whom we feel blessed to have as our daughter.  David and I love to travel.  In 2001 we went to China right after Beijing was awarded the 2008 Olympics. That was exciting! China is beautiful and we would like to go back some day.  This last March, 2008, we went to Turkey. What a great experience. Turkey is an amazing country with wonderful people.

At present, we have 2 cats that keep us laughing.  Frankie Jr. is a lively 4 year old who loves to open cabinets and drawers.  He’s very rambunctious.  Shorty is approximately 8 years old and quite the lover.  He likes to cuddle and follows me around like a puppy.  I love it! Working at the Animal Hospital is a very rewarding experience.  I hope to be a part of it for many years to come.

I have been with Animal Hospital since 1993. It is very rewarding to me to be a member of such a dedicated group of professionals. The doctors and staff here are such wonderful compassionate people, I can't imagine myself working anywhere else. It is so great to work with a team of people that all share the same passion for animals and their well-being. Everyone here is working towards the same goal....to provide excellent veterinary care to every patient that walks, crawls or limps through our door. We are all commited to providing the best possible care to all of our patients.

Over the years I have had many pets ranging from horses and goats to dogs and cats. I currently share my life with 2 cats, (Rafiki and Baby Girl) one turtle (Dozer) and one rabbit (Bun-Bun) but don't tell him he's a rabbit. He thinks he's a cat since he was hand-raised and grew up around them. He even uses a litter box!! He was brought in to the hospital a few years ago by a client who found him all alone in an orchard. He was only a couple of days old and really weak. I really didn't think he would make it. He was so dehydrated. I decided to give it a try and after I bottle fed him every few hours for a couple of weeks, he was finally strong enough to eat on his own. He now has full run of my backyard and spends his days playing with our squirrel friend that lives in our palm tree....I've been calling him "Critter"...just add him to the family!!

In my spare time I enjoy horseback riding, ocean kyaking and spending time with my daughter, Ava.

My name is Brittany and I have worked in the veterinary field for almost 5 years. I absolutely love every part of what I do. I don't think I could ask for a more enjoyable, rewarding job.
